OUR PROGRAMS

Freedom of Expression & Media Independence Program

This program is dedicated to defending freedom of expression and strengthening the independence of media worldwide. Through advocacy, research, and direct support for journalists and outlets, we work to resist authoritarian restrictions, challenge censorship, and ensure that the press remains a vital voice for truth and accountability. By empowering independent media, the program helps safeguard democratic values and human rights across borders.

Free Quill; Independent Voices Publishing Program

This program supports writers from marginalized, migrant, and repressed communities in bringing their work to the world. By providing guidance, resources, and publishing opportunities, we help authors overcome the barriers of the publishing industry—especially those facing censorship, displacement, or limited access to mainstream platforms. Our goal is to amplify diverse voices, preserve cultural expression, and ensure that stories silenced under authoritarianism find their audience.

Media Production Program

This program provides professional media services and creates original content to amplify voices that are often silenced. From documentaries and podcasts to digital campaigns and multimedia reports, we support human rights defenders, independent journalists, and civil society groups with high-quality production tools. By producing impactful material and ensuring its wide circulation, the program strengthens advocacy efforts and expands access to truthful information worldwide.
